Netto – Case Study

Jill has extensive experience of working as a food stylist. Working on advertising and media campaigns with household name brands, such as Netto. Jill works with a team of creatives to make irresistible images that make you want to eat food right from the page!

With a vast amount of experience as a food stylist, Jill often works with designers and marketing teams to create unique brand materials.

What Jill did:

Jill’s work with supermarket brand Netto was a large project over the course of one year. The project was to help them deliver three crucial advertising campaigns. Used in-store with promotional materials and through online editorial and advertising.

There were three strands to the overall project with campaigns for Easter, BBQ and a Midsummer campaign. The company selected a range of ingredients that they wished to feature and highlight. Jill then developed a series of recipes to make use of these ingredients and to fit within the criteria of each theme.

Jill developed and tested each recipe once approved. She then created a recipe pack for each of the three campaigns using Netto’s themes.

On completion of all recipe development, Jill worked with a photographer to create a range of images by producing and styling the food. These images were  then used by the Netto marketing teams in materials such as leaflets, flyers and on the Netto website to help promote their seasonal campaigns.

As a proficient food stylist, Jill has worked on numerous projects similar to Netto. Predominantly food styling for advertising, packaging, editorial and magazines. Some other popular brands Jill has worked with are Asda, Morrisons, Quorn, Greggs and Russell Hobbs, to name a few.

Some of Jill’s most lucrative work has been conducted whilst working for well-known household brands. Each food styling project is bespoke and requires different skills to assist the brand.
